Northland Country Club was started in 1955, but it wasn’t until 2009 that an actual golf course was built due to lack of water supply after a large drought-hit this part of North Dakota during that year. Before building a nine-hole golf course, they could only run their irrigation equipment from May 15th through September 15th. Marley Lake was built in 2007, and it supplied the water needed to make this new addition possible.
